Grandioso is a phenomenal example of what a purebred Andalusian should be. He has won the accolades of judges, veterinarians, farriers, grooms, and facility managers with his gentle nature, correct conformation, athleticism, and social personality.

Grandioso's story is riddled with tragedy and triumph as he overcame an extreme and potentially fatal injury he suffered at his breeder's to secure the 2007 high point title for purebred Andalusians in open hunter/jumper competition. In his one and only show season, Grandioso demonstrated that form equals function as he competed with and won over seasoned warmblood competitors in the hunter ring!

Grandioso is not currently showing due to concern over his prior injury.

We believe that all horses can excel at something. With that, there is always something that can be improved upon whether it be your champion show horse or your favorite trail mount. This is the focus of our breeding program.

The Andalusian is one of the oldest and purest breeds in the world. Much like the Arabian, Andalusian blood can be found in many horses. Brought over by the Spanish, Andalusians became a foundation for breeds in the Americas. This is one reason they make exceptional crosses with any breed and can even improve them with their correct conformation, kind and generous temperment, and incomparable athleticim.

        Grandioso X Appaloosa!

All offspring of Grandioso's are registerable with the IALHA regardless of the breed of your mare. Many crosses are also eligable for their own registeries such as the Percheron (Spanish-Norman), Freisian (Warlander), and Quarter Horse (Azteca).

Both of Grandioso's parents are revised PRE and he is eligible for inclusion in the Spanish Stud Book (a work in progress!).
